How Garment Remodelling Works

Every project begins with an inquiry and a close assessment of the garment and its materials. We look at fabric condition, construction, seam allowances, and the fit challenges before discussing what can realistically be achieved.

Next comes a redesign consultation and a clear project scope. If the concept is workable, you receive a custom quote based on the review, and the design only moves forward after approval and the agreed deposit.

From first review to final collection, each step is shaped by the garment itself and the result you want to wear.

Remodelling can include dress and skirt changes, shirt and jacket restyling, vintage-garment fit updates, or fabric-reuse accessory work. Where available, we also aim to match original thread and trim, while keeping the reuse plan practical and material-led.

Before collection, the finished piece is checked again for fit or finish, and any final adjustment is handled with care. Turnaround depends on the project, and the final result always depends on the garment's construction and condition.
